Marc is a drummer and music producer who was born and raised in Bowling Green. He served as the drummer of Sgt. Arms and was in Mirror Image, which regularly played the Literary Club. He eventually set up a recording studio known as High Street Studio in his basement. The first band he recorded there was Government Cheese, and High Street Studio became known as a center for local performers to record. Notably, High Street Studios was where the first songs for Perfect Confusion – which later became Cage the Elephant – were cut.
Marc also served as the sound engineer for Picasso’s and other venues, and continued touring with bands as a drummer or sound engineer until High Street Studios became a full-time occupation. Marc still records today, helping some of the region’s most well known musicians continue to make music.
